Jeff Gilbert

Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer
Jeff Gilbert is a commercial hydroponic grower with over 15 years of experience and expertise in sustainable agriculture and high-tech greenhouse operations. His professional experience includes working with industry leader De Ruiter and managing all aspects of commercial greenhouse operations, including crop selection, supply chain, and production. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Science from Cornell University.

Rose Paczkowski

Chief Financial Officer
Rose Paczkowski brings 30 years of senior and executive financial experience to our enterprise. She has proven success in the management of a myriad of financial and accounting activities, including business analysis, operations, strategic planning, and cash flow analysis. Rose holds an Accounting degree from Walsh College. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to make technical accounting concepts understandable to non-accountants.

John Keurajian

Director of Sales

John Keurajian is a leader in the natural and organic produce market. At Lakeland, he is responsible for selling directly to grocers, restaurants, and local produce wholesalers. He has 25 years of experience in sales and has held multiple senior sales positions. John received his education from Lawrence Technical Institute of Technology and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in marketing.

Sam King

Operations Supervisor
Sam King oversees our weekend operations. She is skilled in quality assurance, procurement, and strategic planning and has over eight years of management experience, including previous roles in both Kitchen and Produce Management. Her role at Lakeland Fresh Farms includes supervising food safety procedures, inventory management, production, and distribution. Sam is currently pursuing an MBA degree.

Sanessa Moens

Assistant Grower

Sanessa Moens is an expert in the sciences of plant biology and produce management, including a vast knowledge of hydroponic growing systems and food safety initiatives. Sanessa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan.
